Ever wondered what to do with the kids when you want to go to the pub?

Favourable weather led to an impromptu weekend trip to Lymington. Kids packed (including more electronic entertainment devices than an Apple Store) and down to Hamble for a lunch time departure. Not exactly the windiest day, but the tide carried us most of the way. Town Quay was pretty busy but we squeezed in and headed to the Kings Head for a few jars with friends and a magic show by my youngest. Genuine look of ‘How’d you do that?’ as the card reveal took place with with the chosen card appearing as a photo on a friends phone. Well done Lily!

Nice lazy start to Sunday with the kids not getting up until 9am! Blast of a sail back, 16 knots of wind and carried with tide, arrived in Hamble at 1pm. Now the fun and games could start.

There’s no escaping once they’re hoisted and if the pub’s far enough away you can’t hear them screaming to get down 😉

Until the next time….
